Italy v South Africa tips: Boks to punish Italy's defence
The Boks should win in Turin. Italy conceded 131 points across their three July Nations Championship defeats, while South Africa scored 130 in three wins. Rassie Erasmus has named his side early, with Malcolm Marx, Ox Nche and Thomas du Toit starting together rather than a developmental front row.
Scotland v New Zealand tips: All Blacks attack gets the nod
New Zealand are our pick at Murrayfield after scoring 93 points across their two Bledisloe Cup wins. Scotland scored 108 in the July championship window themselves, so this is a much more demanding defensive assignment than the visitors' latest results alone suggest. Richie Mo'unga will miss it with a calf injury.
Wales v Japan tips: Another close Cardiff contest
Wales are our narrow selection against Japan. Their six-try win over Fiji showed the attack can produce enough to win at this level, but the subsequent defeats in Argentina and South Africa exposed a much larger defensive problem. Last year's 24-23 Cardiff meeting is a better warning than any assumption of home comfort.
France v Fiji tips: French attack to set the pace
France should win in Lyon. They scored 42 against both Australia and Japan in July, while Fiji conceded 145 across three championship defeats. Jake White's arrival has already brought Fiji a win over Japan, but the French attack presents a substantially harder test of that improvement.
England v Australia tips: Hosts to test a leaky defence
England are our selection after Australia conceded 93 points in the two Bledisloe Cup Tests. The Wallabies' September win over the Boks shows their attacking threat, but their latest defensive results are much harder to ignore. England have a fresh complication of their own: Alex Mitchell is out of the squad with a hamstring injury.
Georgia v Canada tips: Unbeaten hosts to keep control
Georgia should beat Canada in Tbilisi. Three July wins included a 49-22 finish against Chile, while Canada needed a four-point margin to get past Zimbabwe. The hosts have shown they can win both a high-scoring contest and a match in which their defence keeps the opposition much quieter.
Portugal v Chile tips: Hosts' July finish gives them the edge
Portugal are our selection in Lisbon after following a one-point defeat by the USA with wins over Canada and Tonga. Chile also won twice in July, but ended with a 49-22 defeat by Georgia. Portugal's ability to stay close to the unbeaten Americans gives the hosts the stronger comparison.
Spain v Uruguay tips: Madrid hosts have the scoring edge
Spain are our pick in Madrid. Their 32-19 win over Tonga was the more controlled performance in a comparison with Uruguay's three high-scoring July games. Uruguay scored at least 34 every time but could not turn that output into a victory.
Zimbabwe v Samoa tips: Samoa's attack gets the nod
Samoa are our selection against Zimbabwe in Wakefield. They scored 37 in their last July game, while the Sables managed 15 and 19 in their final two defeats. Samoa's defence remains a concern after a one-point loss to Romania, but their stronger attacking returns give them the edge.
Hong Kong China v USA tips: Eagles' scoring run to continue
The USA are our pick in Bourg-en-Bresse after three July victories. Hong Kong China's 42-40 win over Uruguay gives them a positive result to bring into November, but conceding 144 points across the phase leaves a serious defensive weakness for the Eagles to attack.
New Zealand v India 2nd ODI tips: India's pace edge
India are our pick to win the second ODI after their seamers bowled New Zealand out for 185 in Auckland. Anshul Kamboj conceded just 22 from ten overs, while Arshdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar took seven wickets between them. New Zealand's middle order now needs to recover against an attack that barely gave it a loose ball.
Boland v Badgers tips: Opening partnerships take centre stage
Boland are our pick in Paarl. They arrive from a tie in Gqeberha that they won in the Super Over, with Lizaad Williams defending the final over as the Warriors finished on 138/7 chasing 139. The Badgers have won two Super 8 games through Janneman Malan's batting, but Boland's bowlers have now delivered in successive matches.
Cobras v Lions tips: Leaders have the stronger middle order
The Lions are our early pick at Newlands. Their 206/3 against the Titans was built around Connor Esterhuizen's unbeaten 98 and a 131-run stand with Mitchell van Buuren. The Cobras' latest innings needed Daniel Smith to rescue them to 130/8, leaving a substantial difference in recent batting output.
Eastern Storm v Warriors tips: Visitors' seam attack appeals
The Warriors remain our selection in Benoni. Hendricks, Mungroo and Bedja combined for five wickets while conceding 54 runs in their 12 overs against the Cobras on 31 October. Eastern Storm beat the Dolphins on Friday behind Ronan Herrmann's 87, but they are already out of semi-final contention.
Titans v Dolphins tips: Openers give Titans the early edge
The Titans are our pick after Rivaldo Moonsamy and Lhuan-dre Pretorius added 61 against the Lions. The Dolphins have now started badly in successive completed games, slipping to 12/3 against Boland and 33/3 against Eastern Storm on Friday. Their attack also let Storm's openers add 84, so the opening partnership is the clearest difference.
Pirates v Sekhukhune tips: Bucs to reach the semis
Orlando Pirates are our pick to beat Sekhukhune United in 90 minutes. Bucs won all three August meetings without conceding and arrive after a seventh straight league win. Thapelo Mokobodi supplied both goals in the Soweto Derby, giving Sekhukhune another attacking runner to stop alongside Yanela Mbuthuma and Tshepang Moremi.
Chiefs v Siwelele tips: Amakhosi edge the cup tie
Kaizer Chiefs are our narrow pick against Siwelele. Wandile Duba scored three in the previous round, with Mduduzi Shabalala repeatedly opening up TS Galaxy's defence. Siwelele have just conceded three to previously winless Marumo Gallants, although Vincent Pule's set-piece threat gives Chiefs a defensive problem of their own.
Stellenbosch v AmaZulu tips: Goals to stay low
Under 2.5 goals is our pick for Stellenbosch against AmaZulu. Usuthu have won their last two games 1-0, while both of Stellies' latest matches finished 2-0. Sinoxolo Kwayiba remains a threat, but his two goals in the previous cup round came after 83 goalless minutes.
Leeds v Spurs tips: under 2.5 goals at Elland Road
Under 2.5 goals @1.84 at Easybet is our selection. Seven of Leeds' nine league games have produced two goals or fewer, and Spurs have kept clean sheets in their last two.
Arsenal v Hull tips: both teams to score no at the Emirates
Both teams to score no @1.55 at Easybet is our selection. Arsenal have kept six clean sheets in nine league games, including their last three.
Fulham v Newcastle tips: Fulham draw no bet at Craven Cottage
Fulham draw no bet @1.52 at TicTacBets is our selection. Fulham are unbeaten in three league games, while Newcastle have lost four of their last five in all competitions.
Forest v Man City tips: both teams to score no at the City Ground
Both teams to score no @2.22 at Easybet is our selection. Forest have not scored in any of their four home league games this season.
Brighton v Brentford tips: back the Seagulls with draw no bet
Brighton draw no bet @1.43 at TicTacBets is our selection. The Seagulls have scored 13 and conceded one in four home league games, and Brentford have drawn all four away.
Crystal Palace v Liverpool tips: Reds to win at Selhurst Park
Liverpool to win @1.56 at Easybet is our selection. Palace have lost three league games in a row without scoring, and Jean-Philippe Mateta is suspended.
Ipswich v Bournemouth tips: Cherries draw no bet at Portman Road
Bournemouth draw no bet @1.42 at TicTacBets is our selection. The Cherries have won seven in a row in all competitions and conceded once.
Sunderland v Chelsea tips: Blues to win at the Stadium of Light
Chelsea to win @1.93 at Easybet is our selection. Bottom side Sunderland have scored once in four home league games and lost at home in Europe on Thursday.
Man United v Aston Villa tips: under 2.5 goals at Old Trafford
Under 2.5 goals @2.34 at Easybet is our selection. Six of United's nine league games have stayed under three goals, and both sides played in Europe on Tuesday.
Napoli v Lazio tips: unbeaten leaders to avoid defeat in Naples
Lazio draw no bet @2.16 at Easybet is our selection. The Serie A leaders have won all five away games, and Napoli have a long injury list.
