Ozow, Visa, Mastercard, and SID Instant EFT clear in under two minutes at most SA-licensed operators. Blu Voucher, OTT Voucher, and 1Voucher are also instant once you enter the voucher code.
Processing times are set in each operator's own terms and vary by payment method. Check the withdrawal section of the terms before you deposit, and see each bookmaker review for the times we recorded.
Most licensed SA bookmakers absorb deposit fees on Ozow, SID, cards, and voucher services. A small number pass on card interchange fees. Withdrawal fees are rare but check each operator's cashier page, since some charge for EFT withdrawals under R50.
Of the 45 bookmakers we review, Ozow Instant EFT is listed at 34, followed by Visa and Mastercard at 33 and SID Instant EFT at 31. Manual bank transfer (EFT) is listed at 31. Counts are the operators in the table on each payment method page.
FNB eWallet is not a direct betting deposit method at most SA bookmakers. You typically move funds from eWallet to your FNB current account and then deposit via EFT or Ozow. None of the bookmakers we review lists it as a direct deposit option.
No SA-licensed operator currently accepts crypto directly. The WCGRB and the nine provincial gambling boards require deposits from regulated rand-denominated rails only. Any site offering crypto is operating outside the SA licence framework.
