Fulham have tightened up
Alvaro Arbeloa's side drew 1-1 at Aston Villa on Saturday, with Calvin Bassey named man of the match. Before that they beat Hull 1-0 at home and won 1-0 at Coventry through a late Oscar Bobb goal.
That is one goal conceded in three league games. Their two home defeats both came early in the season, 3-2 to Chelsea and 3-2 to Crystal Palace.
Josh King has four of Fulham's nine league goals. Arbeloa said after Villa Park that his side were "much better organised" in how they press and control transitions.
Newcastle are misfiring
Matthias Jaissle's team lost 1-0 at home to Everton on Monday, four days after losing 3-1 to the same opponents in the League Cup. They did not manage a shot on target until the 85th minute.
Jacob Ramsey is suspended after two yellow cards in 86 seconds at the end of that game. Tino Livramento is still out, so Amar Dedic stays at right-back.
Yoane Wissa is expected to start up front after producing Newcastle's first shot on target from the bench. Matias Fernandez-Pardo is back in the squad after illness, but Joelinton is a doubt after feeling muscle discomfort on Monday.
A test of Newcastle away form
Newcastle have won at Tottenham and Crystal Palace this season, both 2-0. They have also lost 4-1 at Leeds and 4-1 at Coventry, so their away results swing hard.

Why we prefer Fulham draw no bet
Fulham win outright is 2.06, but draw no bet removes the draw risk against a side that can still be dangerous on the break. Fulham have also drawn three of nine league games.
Newcastle's form, the Ramsey ban and Fulham's recent defending all point the same way. The draw no bet price keeps the stake safe if the game finishes level.
