Slots sites in South Africa
Slots sites where the paytable comes first.
Hollywoodbets' 50 sign-up spins are worth R30. Playbet's 200 are worth R20. On a slots site, the stake per spin matters more than the count.
Where we would open a slots account
Start at Hollywoodbets. Its 50 sign-up spins are worth 60c each, so you get R30 of play before you deposit, and spin winnings are capped at R1,200.
Playbet suits Pragmatic Play fans: its 200 sign-up spins go on Big Bass Bonanza 1000, Fire Strike, Extra Juicy and 888 Dragons. Easybet gives the best choice of game for its 25 spins: Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush or Joker's Jewels.
What the spins are actually worth
| Casino | Spins | Per spin | Total | Where they go |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supabets | 100 | 10c | R10 | Two selected Habanero games |
| Lucky Fish | 50 | 30c | R15 | Hot Hot Fruit only |
| Playbet | 200 | 10c | R20 | Big Bass Bonanza 1000, Fire Strike, Extra Juicy, 888 Dragons |
| Hollywoodbets | 50 | 60c | R30 | Hot Hot Hollywoodbets, Hot Hot Fruit, Rainbow Mania |
All four are sign-up spins, before any deposit. Supabets hands out double Hollywoodbets' count and it's worth a third of the money.
Betfred's 750 is the biggest spin count on our list. A count means nothing until you know what each spin is worth, so check the stake in the offer terms.
The casino picks the game
Spins only ever land on the casino's chosen slots. playTSOGO's 50 sign-up spins go on Playtech's Mega Fire Blaze games, and Sportingbet's welcome spins are for its exclusive games only.
Jackpot City runs a wheel instead. Deposit R50 within 30 days and one spin of the Big City Wheel lands either 10 free spins on Hot Hot Jackpot City or 5 Aviator flights.
Hot Hot Fruit carries the spins at both Hollywoodbets and Lucky Fish, so try the demo first. Our free slots catalogue also has Gates of Olympus and 777 Strike.
Wagering decides what you keep
The bonus money is where slots players get caught. betXchange's R50 sign-up casino bonus carries a 55x rollover: R2,750 of slot spins before any of it can be withdrawn.
10Bet's casino wagering is 35x the deposit plus the bonus. Deposit R1,000, take the R1,000 match, and you owe R70,000 of play. Sportingbet sets its casino match at 30x.
At 10Bet, slots count 100% towards that total while roulette, blackjack and crash games count 10%. The match suits a slots player far better than a table player.

RTP is a long game
A 96% RTP slot pays back R96 for every R100 staked across millions of spins, not across your Friday night. Our slots guide covers the controls, and RTP and house edge covers the maths.
Most of these casinos share an account with a sportsbook, so compare them at betting sites in South Africa too.
