Live casino in South Africa
Live casino tables, real dealers, real rules.
Most live blackjack at SA casinos runs on Evolution's standard rules: 3:2 blackjack, dealer stands on soft 17. The tables that change those rules usually have a fun name.
Where we'd sit down
Hollywoodbets runs Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Play Live tables in one lobby. First Person Craps starts at R5 a roll, a cheap way to learn the game.
Mzansibet carries the same three studios. Sunbet takes Evolution's tables and game shows through its own casino.
Blackjack: read the rules panel
Infinite Blackjack is the standard to measure against: eight decks, 3:2 blackjack, dealer stands on soft 17, no doubling after a split. Played by the book it returns 99.51%.
Free Bet Blackjack gives you free doubles and free splits. The price: when the dealer finishes on exactly 22, every hand still in play pushes instead of winning.
Roulette: zeros and multipliers
A European wheel has one zero and a house edge of 2.7%. An American wheel adds a double zero and the edge climbs to 5.26%.
Lightning Roulette drops the straight-up payout from 35 to 1 to 29 to 1, then adds random multipliers of 50x to 500x on up to five numbers a spin.
When the stream freezes
A frozen stream doesn't cancel an accepted bet. Open bet history for the round result before you place the next one, and keep the round reference for support.
Find the table, then the casino
Check that the provider and the exact table are in your account's lobby before you deposit. Our live casino guide goes deeper on table rules, and South African betting sites compares the same operators as bookmakers.
