Supabets Adds Live Streaming for 10 Additional Sports
Supabets has rolled out live streaming for 10 additional sports on its platform. The expansion covers basketball, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, handball, futsal, badminton, beach volleyball, ice hockey, and snooker.
What you can actually watch
Coverage varies by sport. Basketball and tennis get the most consistent streams, with major leagues and ATP/WTA events available throughout the week. Table tennis and futsal streams are more hit-and-miss - you will find Eastern European leagues and lower-tier fixtures rather than headline events.
Stream quality is decent on wifi but can buffer on mobile data, especially 3G connections. There is no dedicated streaming tab yet, so you need to go to the live event and look for the play icon.
How it stacks up
Betway remains the benchmark for live streaming in SA, with smoother playback and a wider range of Tier 1 events. Hollywoodbets has also expanded its streaming recently, though it leans heavily on horse racing and football.
Supabets' advantage is the variety. If you like betting on niche sports in-play, having the stream and the markets on one screen removes friction.
Worth checking out?
If you are already a Supabets user, absolutely - it costs nothing and it enhances your live betting. If streaming quality is your top priority, Betway still has the edge.
